                 DANCE, MUSIC AND ATTIRES Bhangra, gidda, luddi are few folk dances of Punjab . Men and Women dressed up in Punjabi traditional attires seem no less than pretty dolls. The beat of dhol shall make one’s feet tap back to back with joy.  Dresses worn by Punjabi women are expensive and reflect richness. Punjabi attires include suits , lehenga , sharara , plazzo , Punjabi jutti , salwar , phulkari , baagh and kameez etc. The jewelery worn in the neck , earrings , bangles and karas at wrist, rings worn in the fingers, nosepin and parandi tied at the end of the plait of hair with a light makeup put up on the already beautiful face completes the Punjabi attire as a whole.  Boys and girls of Punjab are endowed with beauty and richness .          TASTE AND LIFESTYLE OF PUNJABI PEOPLE Punjabi folks are different from folks residing in rest of the world in a sense that “They live to eat instead of  eat to live”. “ Sarson da saag with Makki di roti ” is the most famous dish of Punjabi cuisines. People belonging to this culture are sort of foodie and consume plenty of diary products like desi ghee , makhan (butter), lassi   (buttermilk), milkcream in their normal routine diet.  People who hail from rustic villages or outskirt areas wakeup early every morning and perform their animal rearing duties at their homes. Ladies wakeup early by 4 am in the twilight to recite holy books and prayers of their holy religion as their first task to do every morning.                         LANDS OF PUNJAB Punjab is a place of birth of Gods and Saints, traditions and festivals, Kings and Queens , colourful markets and fairs etc. Each month in our calender is embedded with festivals that begin right from Lohri in January, Basant Panchmi in February, Holi in march, Baisakhi in April, Navratras in may, Raksha Bandhan and Ganesh Chaturthi in august, Karva Chauth and Dusshera in September and Diwali in November, Christmas in December. Each festival symbolizes victory of truth over the evil. Festivals are celebrated together among folks which deepens the love and bonding within communities. It helps us appreciate and realize the significance of close kins and cronies one has in their life.
